SHOULD OLD FASHION MISTAKES BE FORGOTTEN

As you move forward into the new year, it’s only fair that your wardrobe be able to move forward with you. So put your fashion mistakes behind you and look forward to moving into a new year of style. In order to make room for any new things in your life, you must get rid of the old things that no longer serve you. This is true for habits, relationships, and CLOTHES!

When you think about what you want your look to tell the world about you, does your wardrobe support the message that you want to send? Does it celebrate who you are and who you are becoming, or does it tell everyone who you used to be? What mistakes are still sitting in your closet taking up valuable space?

This month, go through every item in your closet and assess the following:

1) Wear-ability: Does it FIT? Does it need repair, dry cleaning or alteration?

2) Style-ability: Is it still able to give you the look and style that you want.

If there is something that no longer serves you, take it out!!!! If you need to, enlist the help of a friend or significant other who will tell you the truth about what should stay and what should go! It is much better to begin the year with a few items that are the best items for you and your style, than it is to have a closet filled with last year’s mistakes.
